Running onfumes.Setting the pace.

You run a business, a team or a house that never stops. The one thing that's slipped is you.

I'm Jake. I coach driven people back into shape around the life they've already got, so it lasts this time. Your team copies your pace. So do your kids.

Who I work with

Business ownersRunning the company, the team and the cash flow.
Senior leadersDirectors, managers and heads of department carrying a lot of people.
Busy parentsHolding the family together around the school run and everything else.

Most of my clients tick at least one.

Sound familiar?

You run everything well. Except yourself.

None of this is a willpower problem. You've got plenty of that, it's how you built everything else. It's a system problem.

The idea

Set the pace. Pass it on.

At work, your team follows your pace. At home, your kids do. When you're running on empty, so is everything around you.

Relay gets you back to being the example, then makes it stick through real life: the birthdays, the holidays, the big months at work. Not a 12 week sprint. A pace you can hold for good.

Do it, for them.

How it works

Five legs. One handover.

One-to-one, online, built around your diary. A weekly check-in from me, recorded for you. Daily logging in the app. WhatsApp when you need me.

Re-cord

Weeks 1 and 2: change nothing

You log honestly, I watch what you already do. Then I meet you there, instead of handing you a meal plan off Google.

Re-duce

The fat loss

A deficit that fits your week, with planned breaks mapped round the real events on your calendar.

Re-fuel

Calories back up

Refeeds and diet breaks when your body or your diary needs them. Part of the plan, not a failure.

Re-tain

A full year of real life

First Christmas, first holiday, first stag do. You learn to run it without me.

Re-lay

Set the pace. Pass it on.

The best version of you that you can actually hold. The one the kids grow up copying.

Straight talking

Who it's for. Who it isn't.

It's for you if

  • You run something hard, well: a business, a team, a household under pressure.
  • You've got drive everywhere else and it's just your health that's slipped.
  • You can take instruction and follow a process.
  • You want it to last, not just for a holiday.

It isn't for you if

  • You want it done to you, not with you.
  • Nothing that's gone wrong before was ever down to you.
  • You're after the cheapest plan going.
  • You want a crash diet for one photo.

The people I coach

Driven. Just lost the thread.

Business owner · Dad

Runs a busy company. Used to run, fell out of love with it years ago. Came in thinking food was the problem. It was stress.

Checks in on time, every week, without being chased. Same as he runs his business.

Years of on and off dieting

Lost weight plenty of times. Then lived in fear of the scales and gained it back.

Learned what the scale actually tells you, and stopped letting it decide her day.

Dad · More in the tank

Sluggish, waking up in a haze, and sure there was more left in the tank.

Wanted to keep up with his kid on the bike. That's the real goal, and we built for it.

Names and numbers left out on purpose. My clients' details stay private unless they say otherwise.

About Jake

A normal bloke with a plan.

I'm a dad, I run two businesses, and I'm based in Warwickshire. I've been coaching for 14 years.

I owned a gym and still let my own health go. It took a full year of looking after myself and saying no to most things to get back. So I don't preach from a pedestal. I've been the one running on fumes.

I'm not anyone's motivation. Motivation turns up after you've done something, never before. What I give you is the plan, the check-ins and someone in your corner who notices when it slips.

Questions

The ones everyone asks

How much is it?

It's one-to-one, so the price depends on what you need. We'll talk it through on a call before you commit to anything. The minimum is 6 months, because you need to live through real life with it, not just a quiet month.

Is it a meal plan?

No. For the first 2 weeks you change nothing and log what you already eat. Then I meet you there, with the family meals and the takeaways still in. Food isn't good or bad. It's just calories.

Do I need a gym?

No. Your training is written around what you've got, whether that's a gym, a garage or a living room floor, and around injuries and your diary.

How do the check-ins work?

You log daily in the app: weight, sleep, steps, training. Every week I go through your week and send you a personal recorded check-in. And you've got me on WhatsApp.

I'm not a parent. Can I still join?

If you're driven, busy and ready to do the work, yes. You'd go into The Standard or The Comeback Club.

I've got no time. Will this work?

It's built for people with no time. That's the whole point. We plan the rough weeks too: kids ill, no sleep, work gone mad.

Your leg

Ready to set the pace?

The application takes about 3 minutes. I read every one myself and I'll get back to you.

Set the pace. Pass it on.
